dynamic deleting!
Ok,
You know how when you have songs in your playlist and you hear a song you dont like so you click on the song and click delete, the song dissapears from the playlist in winamp but its still on your hard drive. I want to make it so that if i delete a song in winamp, it gets deleted off my hard drive (thats what i call dynamic deleting)... Is there any way to do that with the older non-beta version of winamp? if not Is there a plugin i can download to do that? if not Is there a program external from winamp that i can download to do that? Hope someone can answer me, thanks! Why?... Because my freind (who has a similar taste in music) sent me 1.3gigs worth of mp3's and i want to play them and delete all the songs that i dont like and keep the ones that i do like. |
Playlist -> REM button -> Misc -> Physically delete selected file(s)

uuuuuummmmm
do i have to do that for every single file i want to delete physically? is there a way to make it so that when you hit delete it deletes the file physically?
Is there a keyboard shortcut to deleting files permanently? Is that the only way? |

REM -> Misc -> Physically delete selected file(s) The files that you highlighted should be physically deleted. Quote:

but...
The whole purpose of deleting the files is deleting the songs i dont like RIGHT after listening to them, therefore the select the files you want to delete then doing that shortcut wont work for me.
I want to be able to delete a song directly after i listen to it and decide i dont like it... Im guessing there is no way to do that from the responses i got :\ am i correct? |

...perhaps someone will make a quick plug-in after reading this thread |
go to winamp.com
go to plugins search for "deletecurrentsong" and you can download my plugin... ;) greetz q |
