this is our (nini and i) skin for the collab contest. since the contest ends tonight, i figured it was safe to share now. its called chimera. chimera was the name of the disease in MI2. it was supposed to be bio-tech-ish, but it turned out like this. what do you think?

Very nice. :D I love the 'gel'-like feel of it and the roundness of it all. Like that font you used for the title, too.

Great job! Though the PL stacks could've been labelled.

Our (Caz and I) skin is much worse. It has no button indicators... We'll lose tons of marks in 'Completeness.'

Aye. Well, at least the goal of this contest was reached: we all learned something and experienced first hand - skinning.

I used the base cursors for my skin - Past-Elle... it was my first published skin made about three months ago, so don't grill me. :o :cry:

well this is what me and ~supey have done so far. he was quite busy and couldnt get anything on it done so i picked up the fragments and worked with them. ill finish it in due time, kinda pointless now though

doggy dog took ages to do them cursors's, so they're not too bad but are a little tricky to use. [u could swap them for mine?]

its not that the cursors are ugly or anything, just HUGE! i actually do like the way it kind of disintegrates over the "x" button

Oh, yeah, your skin is great :). But ours is better :):):).

It's pretty cool. I prefer the one you did for SummerBreeze though - that one matched the skin beautifully. This one is a bit monotonous for my liking (though most AVS presets are). I'd love to see what you'd come up with on something like Milkdrop. I personally hate AVS, partly because on my computer it only looks good when stretched to a size of about 4cm x 4cm (whereas Milkdrop looks great in fullscreen with a decent resolution and mesh size) anything else becomes jerky - pretty unnecessarily slow on AVS's behalf, I think.

I can't run milkdrop without lowering my settings to 16 bit color thanks to the onboard graphics chip on my compaq -_- which sucks, cause I'd like to create AVS presets myself...

Very good! Spot on! Yes, Nini, it's Polish. All except the word "vrlo", which is Serbo-Croatian (because I think DoggyDog is more likely to understand that word than the Polish equivalent) - it's the only word you got wrong, Jellby (it means "Very" not "quite" - I think), where are you from?
