winamp 2.80 is out. cool. let's see who's gonna bingo by predicting how many versions of it will be still spilled until the mighty winamp 3 version is here.

myself, I think it's going to be about 7 versions until the final. unless NullSoft are thinking of going the turtle way and count it down 20times!

PS: Developpers and staff of NullSoft and their families, relatives, pets, cars, etc are not allowed to participate :D

IIRC wa2 and wa3 have seperate teams working on them.So will wa2 really matter when wa3 get out.

hmmm, that sounds fammilair. wassn't WA3 due for Christmas2000 too?

I will be quite surprised to see winamp3 final this year. I'm guessing it'll be done during the last half of 2003 sometime.

maybe someone will chuck in a copy of the wa2.xx base skin (or 2 copies, one with each splash screen)...
