WA 2.8 muting right channel on vol change
 

Ever since I upgraded from 2.79 to 2.80, every time I move the volume control on Winamp, or on the Creative Surround mixer (SB Live 5.1 platinum), the mixer shows wave output to be muted, but only the right channel goes off. When WA isn't running, moving the wave volume on the mixer works fine.

This problem occured with and without the nomad plug-in.

Reinstalling the SB drivers made no difference.

Clicking the mute button on the surround mixer brings back the right channel.

Is the balance slider in the main winamp window centralized?
(this is on the right-hand side of the volume slider)

If the problem persists, tell us what type of file formats are affected.
MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMA, MOD, AudioCD, other, one of these, all of these?

Also include a list of all 3rd-party plugins installed, if any.

Checked the other threads as suggested..

Checked the preferences and found that the output plugin got changed back to standard wave out. Aparently this is where the problem is.

I changed it back to direct sound and now it's all working again.
