new domain naming help!
 

i was watching Rushmore and saw Bill Murray smoking two ciggarettes at once. Someone in the room said "welcome to flavor country" and someone else said "it's a big country.".

so we thought flavorcounty.org could be a cool site, coz it would enable us to have any kind of content. after all, it is a big country :)

any thoughts? possible cooler domain names? we would love for people to join us on this project in satire and wit, and possibly geekiness :)

we want to do something totally unique (or mostly unique), if that is possible.

we were thinking a satirical writing site OR a leetornot.com (a la hotornot.com) where ppl upload pics of their pc case mods to be rated by the viewers. but i want something with real quality to it...

any ideas?

It would depend on what you would want on the site. For one, and what the people would want, who would be visiting the site.

I personally, don't really know what everyone else would want in a site.

Try asking them all yourself.

Oh, and I forgot to mention...

...It's rather hard to be unique on the internet anymore.

That's true. We should play around with some ideas, and things, and see what works best for the people who visit it. Get people's opinions, and tweak the site so that it has things everyone loves.

Or Maybe not, just concentrate it around certain things, liek what you were saying earlier.

Too broad of websites are too complicated to navigate, too easy to get lost in, and more likely for Explorer to scr3w up and kill your computer anyways. :D

i agree. if we simply poll the population and make a site based on what most people want, w/o making it too broad, it could be a very cool site indeed :)
