Sytem.ini HELP!!!
Hi guys. I just tried to compile my latest program, but I keep getting the following error. Could this have something to do with my recent format? Will I need another format? Oh well, if you guys cant help and I cant fix it, then I need a format in the summer anyway, cuz I'm going to make a dual boot system, so I'll see if it works then, but I would really appreciate if I could fix this without a Windows reinstall or format. Tanks!
The keyboard driver specified by the KEYBOARD= line in the [386Enh] section of the SYSTEM.INI file is uncompatible with the current version of Windows. To crrect this problem, run Windows Setup again. The actual value of the specified SYSTEM.INI key is: keyboard=*vkd Also, in the previous section of the INI: [boot] ... keyboard.drv=keyboard.drv ... [keyboard] keyboard.dll= ... [boot.description] system.drv=Standard PC keyboard.typ=Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural Keyboard ... Thanks for any and all help you can offer! :) |
W00t w00t!! I fixed it. Unfortuately, it crashed twice, and caused a registry error, but it all works now. :D
