Error msg at startup in build 476 (the newest one...)

Hope you can fix it!

It doesnt seem to kill winamp or anything - jops pops on in to say hi... :-)

Anyway, are there only supposed to be the AVS, Browser, InfoWnd, and Pref in the thinger now?

I only have one thing to add now - on this machine (see below for specs...) my EARLYER build of Winamp kept on crashing - but only when playing games at the same time... This happened after... Well... Sometime 10 min, other times 2 hours or more... Havent tryed with this new one though...

2.0 Ghz P4 Mobile
WinXP Home
Standard built-in soundcard called: AC 97...
Standard built-in WinXP Home drivers for it as well...

why can't you guys read the FAQ before posting?

Also, stick with beta3 as theese builds are not meant for everyday use, they are for developers only..

As this IS a BETA build, as you so clerverly noticed, and this IS a bug report forum! (Im surprised you even noticed...) I did what every tester should do: Report a bug when found!
It wasent a request for help. Hence the BUG REPORT thingie!

Now, since I like Winamp as well, I would like for it to be stable. Hence the bug reporting.

I dont think I can make it any clearer than that... Do you understand what I am saying, or should I try in a mor simple language?

Besides, I did read the FAQ, I did install the update, and my playlist didnt work anymore, plus I still got the same msg.

So, let me conclude, stuff it where the sun dont shine!

IF you read through the FAQ, you WOULD have understood that #476 is NOT meant for YOU to use!

ALSO, #476 is NOT a BETA build, it's an INTERNAL build, a snapshot!
IT is NOT meant for public use, hence NOT a beta.

This BUG REPORT forum is NOT meant for internal/developer builds!

Don't yell at me for telling you what to do.

You're such an asshole!!!

First. This forum is for bug reports that can be found in betas and
official releases (when they become available). So, internal snapshots
don't belong in that groups. They are known to have many bugs and
developers will fix as many as they could find. Others will be fixed
when new beta is released.

Second. How dare you to call someone "a smart ass" when that person
has been active on this Forum for many years. And you have posted only
4 posts till now. You think that you have "drunk" all the knolwedge in
the world and that you know, and can do, everything you want! So please
shut up, before one of the moderators doesn't close your account. And
it would be nice if you apologized to Plague in public or by mail
(your choice)...
