When I click on the song, the seeking bar will move and the litle timer will go to 00:01 then stop, not playing any sound hat so ever. I have uninstalled then reinstalled Winamp and it stil does this! What's wrong wth my winamp?

Sounds like you've moved the actual mp3 file and so the playlist points to the wrong place.
Do a search on your hard disk for mp3s and try playing them from explorer? Does it work? If not we'll need more information - operating system, sound card, how one would go about reproducing the problem, perhaps samples of the files that cause the problem. |
"Sounds like you've moved the actual mp3 file and so the playlist points to the wrong place." It gave me the same problem right after I redownloaded it to the Intro that came with it; I hadn't put my plugins in the play list.
"Do a search on your hard disk for mp3s and try playing them from explorer? Does it work?" Say wha? when I try to open the mp3s, but it automatically goes to my winamp and gives me the same problem as before. "If not we'll need more information - operating system," - Er, windows98 if that's what you mean.... "sound card," - what in the name of the Gods is that? "how one would go about reproducing the problem," - No clue "perhaps samples of the files that cause the problem." - Once more, no clue |
