FooMonkey 12th June 2002 18:18

on my screen the navigation is not totally visible
the bottom few links are cut off by that bottom frame
I'm on 800x600 btw

other than that, very nice:up:

Nini 12th June 2002 19:03

Is it possible that it because of your fancy .tk domain? :p

hm, I think i'm going to put this little 'scrolling=yes' code back in my index file... which resolution is the most common anyway?

blackdog, some idiot stole my avatar, mj deleted it and that's it. btw, my site still has popups bc i didn't include the code yet.

skinme, good luck on you're next exam! I'm finished with highschool :D graduation ceremony is in two weeks :)

Atmo 13th June 2002 04:52

Thats a sweeet ass design 883...:D

I think 800x600 is the average still....I use an 800x600 window while browsing most of the time.

J_Bloggs 13th June 2002 06:48

800X600 definitaly

simon snowflake 13th June 2002 06:52

I use 1024x768
But I'm planning making borders, so that it can be viewed in both resolutions :D

And what about those of us who are up at 1600x1200?:D

Atmo 13th June 2002 07:44

Just run it in a 800x600 window....then you can fit 4 pages on 1 desktop without overlapping......:D

*not mine

dude883 13th June 2002 07:58

hm, i think i'm going to pull the nav bar up, that would do it for the 800x600 people... mj, what kind of a monster are you using :D

A 19inch Compaq P920 , I used to run it at 1920x1440, but I hate working at the pixel level :D

That's my desktop beastie at work, on the laptop I use at home and when traveling with work, I'm normal on 1280 x 1024 minimum

I just do not understand how people can still run at 800x600 and think that that's a good resolution.

Shit I rebuilt a lapotp last night, fresh install, and the video chipset defaulted to 640x480, it was like "oh my god, did we really run at this resolution!!!!"

FooMonkey 13th June 2002 08:18

my monitor is kinda high up and far away, and I need glasses, so if I have it on any higher resolution I can't see anything and I end up having to do this alot::weird:
then my eyes end up feeling like this: :igor:
and it's really not too phun;)
...but I only need glasses because I sit in front of the computer all day:D

dude883 13th June 2002 08:22

/me drools

I used to work on a 640x480 resolution about a year ago :D actually not that bad, you don't have to zoom in that much ;)

Yeah, but winshade mode takes up all the screen space :D

dude883 13th June 2002 08:32

true, true :P

dude883 13th June 2002 09:30

btw, try the fullscreen mode (F11), that should make you be able to see more of the navbar.

FooMonkey 13th June 2002 16:19

erm, I'm experiencing a slight problem with your site...every time I try to go there my computer freezes, then I have to restart my computer using the button, and my computer pops up that blue screen and yells at me for restarting wit the button, and it's all not very phun:)
it could just be my computer, it is kinda crappy

btw, your website link in your profile goes to www883design.tk (no dot after the www) just thought I'd let you know:)

That's a question of money. :igor:
I have 1024x768 here, but the kde panel and the browser bar takes a lot of space, so i end up with 600px "real" window. Or maybe a bit more. navbar fits perfectly in my window.

J. Burnaway 13th June 2002 17:48

Finally got the site to open, and well worth the wait. I like the nav bar lots. I really like the illumination effect in the WA2 skins section.
