That's shocking that they have been banned. Then again, Oz did ban the French indie film "Amelie" - a film that if 200 people saw it in each city it would be fantastic. Freedom of choice? Not anymore. Mayors and Classification boards start to get a little bit of power and it goes straight to their heads. What will be banned next? i dread the answer.

Graphic sex scenes whcih is why they have R18+ ratings. But even then not many 18 year olds were going to see the movie because it had a restricted screening.

Amelie is likely to be too intelligent for the average teenager anyway :igor:
