i saw papa roach last year, and have hated them since. and now with their new single on the air, i have more to hate them for...

they got booed off the stage when i saw them last year, and i thought that was very funny. they were horrible.. the frontman was trying to talk about something he thought was serious but everyone else thought was lame. and then they played this longass sad song, at a metal show... and no one really cared to hear it, and then the song ended with THREE FULL MINUTES OF WHISTLING!!!!!!!

argh! and then when we started booing he just flipped the bird and said "fuck you guys, i've got the stage and i'm gonna take advantage of it."

i have hated them since. if you don't know how to put on a show, don't.

Well I'm glad you like it so much BiGtAv. I, myself, would have to lean more towards the side of trigear, though. They're just way too trendy and Mtv for me. And I listened to "She Loves Me Not," and he's screaming "it's not fair" or something like that. I can't listen to all that whining! Grow up dude (Jacoby)!

But of course, there are people who like that music, it means a lot to a lot of people, I'm sure. So, go ahead and listen away, everyone should be able to listen to what they want, right?

damn, lots of people I know hate that band too. never gave them much thought myself.

New song is good, new album sounds below average from what i've heard.

Papa Roach are one of those bands that everybody say's they hate in an attempt to appear cool. That's why you all know people that 'hate' them. It's sad. Try listening to them first and getting your own opinions.

uhh... sorry, i hate them on my own, thank you very much. i have my own personal reasons to hate them as a band (see above), which i think is a very good set of reasons to hate a band. i'll admit some of their music is alright, but i still have to stress, the band sucks.

having seen them, i feel i have a right to hate them. i'm not riding any bandwagon. i've got my own damn car.


(oh, and before i saw them, i actually thought they were good... i think it was during the THREE FULL MINUTES of whistling that i started to think "hey, i think i'm starting to hate these guys." and then everything they did afterwards just made it worse.)

their music is average... a lot of people hate them because they are over-publicised, which they are. personally, i have better bands to listen to...

Judge a band by their music. To hate a band for having too much publicity, radio play, MTV play or whatever is pathetic.

well wait a sec though, in all fairness you can have any reason for hating a band. I may not like an artist like Madonna because she did something to me that was horrid like making fun of my religion. Or that she dresses to skanky for my taste. That doesn't mean I cannot like a song that I heard of hers. There are two different components to an artist. Their personallity and their music.

Im sorta half half. I wouldnt buy one of their albums, but i dont dislike their music either.

Blood Brothers was ok, other than that song, everything else blows, at least IMO. I used to think that they sucked, until I heard they're only good song. Then I found out that they really are useless.:igor:

Ummm...Papa Roach has one good song on their Infest album, and it faded fast. :rolleyes:
