still having problems with outlook
 

Im having serious problems connecting outlook to my site's mail system. I usually check my e-mail via a web-based site but that is playing up and now i want to connect via outlook. It is asking for a pop3 server address and a IMAP address. I have searched around my control panel and cant find anything, txt & e-mailed my host but they dont reply. Does anyone here know the most common pop3 address? Would it be like pop3.mysite.co.uk or something?

It really depends on the site...

I mean yahoo is pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk

and I know others that are like mail.exampleserver.com

you have to find out from the webmaster.

The guy that usually sorts this stuff is away, and i cant read any e-mails because the web-based site is down. :(

If it's on a local network, you might also want to try "mail", that'll work sometimes (without the " ofcourse)
