options?!
was there supposed to be language support, not localized version (i dont care about the menues) but the playlist should show the songs that arent in english - im using XP and it shows some weird letters instead the song's name in the playlist (though on the taskbar it writes it correctly)
and i know its not a bug, BUT, its really buging me... ive downloaded the recent ver of WA3 and i love it, but theres one thing im missing from winamp 2.x - the option 'j' - to be able to open a window and write a part of the song's name so i could find it in all the mess with just one press on the letter 'j'. if WA3 had support for other lang and had the 'j' i know i and many of my friends will upgrade from WA2.x thanks for your attention! |
Experimental Unicode support was removed in the current RC2 release, it will return at a later date, that would account for some of your wigged out playlist entries.
As for the J function, the playlist window now features a search bar that works in a very similar way, it's right above the add/del/sel buttons and says "select" next to it, just type in there to search. |
yeah, but the search only highlights the songs, and if my song is not visible i'll have to scroll and search it from the highlighted items, it would have been much easier if id have a list that contains only the songs im searching for.
