Hey, im from www.whatsup.tk and was wondering if all you nice peeps would like to make us a cool Winamp 3 skin ( 2 if 3 is not possible ). Hello Rhino, thanks a lot for offering your help BUT you ahve mis-understood me !! I do not have any skin and need someone to make me one ( a simplke skin with my logo intergrated into it ).. If this is possible please reply..:eek:

I was skimming over your site and well, it seems there is someone there who does some graphics... why don't you let him put something together, a skin-kinda, just the graphic and then ask one of the people here to make the XML and turn it into a skin? I guess that'd be easier, because your own people know better what would like.. kinda be what you're looking for?

BTW Don't write in caps... it's considered shouting and is not polite.

i have already asked the graphix peeps but they sed they crnt as they have no idea of what graphix etc to make !! Plz could sum1 here start from scratch and make me a skin >> Thnkas

start from scratch..

well doing a winamp3 skin for u is really hard if u don't have the gfx, cause the guy who will do it can't know how u want it to look, if some one can just supply basic graphical ideas, like buttons and backgrounds and stuff like that, then maybe someone could grab on to the pattern and continue from there, but starting it from scratch will not please u i think.

just let someguy do like the buttons and background or borders, and i think someone could take that and continue upon it, but it won't be me, cause i am leaving tomorow

lol.. anways.. could i draw a simple 'MS Paint drawing' with just the shape ( its gonna be crappy ) so u know what i want..

hey, duran ross???? one question: the logo, is a letter of a font, i once had, but as i had to format, i've erased it and forgotten its name.. could u perhaps send it to me??? would be really nice!! :) My Mail ..... here's a pic, i used it for:simple interfacelayout ...do u like it? i don't think it's soooo amazing, but not bad.. back to topic:

hehe thanx rontz, i think i am actually improving in ps, but i don't really like the way i did the next and prev buttons, i think i could have done better, but i don't have time. but thanxx, thats just lifted my spirit.

How do you do that? Just one suggestion. To fit with the old, rusted look, maybe you could make the glass in the middle cracked a bit.

i dunno about functionality; i just kinda drew some random shapes. the shape'll probably change as i realize buttons won't fit and there's no place for important things. btw, is it too big?

lakitu42, one of the best ways to get a rusted look is to use actual rust. find a rust texture, put it above the layer you want it on in photoshop, and set it to a blending mode. on this, i used color burn.

Hey guys.. bak from skool :-) !! Anways.. i like the rusty one and i think the actual shape and everything is just fine and does not need mofifying. I loike the rust one but the bottom of it ( were the buttons would be ) need to be modified a bit more to amke more rusty i fink !!! Could Rhino Code this skin by any chance ?? U any good ??

yeah im good go to http://www.therhino.scripterz.org to see my latest work and actually i had this skin almost fully coded but you found a design you like better so i surely can code that but i go on vacation this coming monday for two weeks so i would need the gfx now to have it to you for sure by the time i leave :D
