Flying While Intoxicated?
http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/07/02/ame...dui/index.html
You gotta be kidding me? Really? Pilots almost ready to take off when they get turned around back to the gate. This tragedy averted thanks to security guards.;) |
If only the traffic police were this good.

Don't be too surprised!
It happens more often than you can imagine. I've actually seen pilots, in uniform, sucking them down at the airport bars. Even if they were done flying (planes) for the day, it is prohibited by airlines to drink in uniform. I like the rule name that airlines refer to alcohol and flying: 8 hours from "bottle to throttle":blah: |
I flew America West from Seattle to Denver via Vegas once with my son.
We had a 4 hour layover in Vegas while the pilots........ Hell if I know what they were doing:confused: Mapping charts? |
My dad was gonna stick me on one of those flights to go From Albuquerue > Phoenix > Denver. 1 hour stop at Phoenix.
He was hoping to get a good deal. Just the times weren't too reasonable for my drop-off at Denver the day I return. He opted out for Frontier Airlines! Direct 391 mile journey. No 800 mile trip in three states! America West sucks badly when it comes to service. Seats are small. Knee to seat room. Last time I flew on their planes was from Albuquerque > Phoenix > Portland. And man did that 1 hour 10 minute flight from ABQ to PHX suck for my dad. :D Damn bitch in front of him kept on reclining. My dad wanted to do his crossword puzzle in peace. My dad kept forcing the chair up, she reclined it down. She said that she had a headache (Altitude sickness? Drive next time). My dad was about fed up. I told him: What do you expect for $259 round trip? |
