I agree that we had the right to arrest him. Why didn't he just get a proper Visa, though? It said that he's a citizen of New Zealand. As a citizen of New Zealand, he would have been granted the proper Visa with no problems.

He has no reason to come to the US for flying lessons to commit some crime or other so don't rush to 11thSeptember conclusions about foreigners and flying lessons. He could easily do it in Iraq or New Zealand so I see it as a legit visa problem end of story.
