My ML and PL buttons stopped working with my skin when RC2 came out as well. If your problem is like mine, it can be fixed easily. I changed the param="guid:{45f3f7c1-a6f3-4ee6-a15e-125e92fc3f8d}"
and param="guid:{6B0EDF80-C9A5-11d3-9F26-00C04F39FFC6}" to param="guid:_pl" (stupid emoticons... that is supposed to be without the underscore.) and param="guid:ml" and it works now. It is supposed to accept either, but only the ml/pl seem to work.

the playlist window has become a bit strange (!)
with RC2, not fixed yet
but the buttons work....:)
