Emulation BIOS?? What the hell...
1 Attachment(s)
Ok, I just downloaded Epsxe for Windows, http://www.epsxe.com , anyways you need the Playstation BIOS file, {I own a Playstation so nobody say that I am doing something illegal}, so I downloaded the BIOS "scph1001", what I need to know is where to put it so that the program can get to it. If you don't know what I am talking about, download the program and see what I mean.
- Don't make fun of my lame desktop wallpaper! |
Go to the program's directory and look for the folder called 'bios'. Place the *****.bin file in there.

No Prob:D
/me now has to go get the new .bin file  |
i think your real problem is the background. the emulator's scared byteless.

Good choice on a psx emulator by the way. epsxe is the one I use. Get Pete's OpenGL plugin for video, and Eternal 1.30 for the SPU plugin. Those are the best. And yeah, you need a BIOS. I use scph7001.bin and it works fine.

sheesh... when i had my PSX, i bought bleem! to compliment the console. basically i compared quality, and was impressed that it looked so much cleaner through there.
bleem! is a dead project now i believe. they made a mistake of funding a dreamcast emulator. too bad sega couldn't backup their superior hardware with games when they were making consoles. now i just use GBA emulators... but the only difference is that it's not so damn dark on my PC compared to the console. &@#%!@ no backlit screen, damn you nintendo. (i kept "Xena: Warrior Princess" for the PSX and sold everything else) |
sega games were the greatest and their consoles were awesome too. the problem was that either they were underdog in power (Super Nintendo) or underdog in developers like with the dreamcast vs. playstation. too many developers went to playstation which had all of sony recruiting them. sega made inovative games but their market share was too small.
