...no, I don't really think they are, I just think it's funny that there's always one of these posts going around claiming that Forums are going to be shut down unless we all gather round and start really pumping out those posts, because one person senses inactivity.
Plus, as I write this I was seriously cconsidering flaming all the lame-brains who write these type of posts, but my heart's no longer in it. In fact, if it seems I'm rambling, it's because I am, because I feel the rise of uncaring and ignorance through the vials of my mind.

AeroLed, if you are going to link pics from geocities, change the extention to .txt so geocities hot-linking filter won't catch it. The rest of us see a red x.

Actually, i prefer it when its quiet. Its when most of the genuine questions are asked and genuine posts are made..

I don't think they are dying. I started a thread all about that on the Fourth OF July really long weekend because it was so quiet. I don't like it like that.

Has anyone been able to get on deviantART lately? I tried to review some skins today but the site was SOOOOOOOO SLOW. I know it's always pretty slow but it was unbelievably slow today. It's worse than starting up Windows ME.

hey i have you know windows ME has a quick start up time of 7 seconds. depends on how you configure it (if your smart or not) and windows 2000 has a base start up time of 40 seconds!!!!!! :o so dont nock the 9x series for startup times. thats all they are good for.

Thats unless you defrag your machine daily to do that, and also partition your drive makes the OS load faster. Cut the Splash Screen too. Windows2000 can load faster, but you also have to take for account that Windows2000 has more advanced features that the Win9x do not. ;) It has like 20 or so programs it has to load to make it function a securely as possible.

it would seem that that doesn't work with uk.geocities.com try just geocities.com

mmm i love my partions. my windows partitions are at the edge of my drive taking up only 1.7gb. programs partition and files partion at the bottom. works soooooo nicely

ive been on vacation...and i am so impatient i cant wait for my grandparents 33k to load...so ive been lurking...
