Camping
 

Me and three of my friends went camping the other day. Yep just us a front wheel drive car for 4bying (handles well with e-brake) Northbends unused logging trails and some fishing polls. Hella fun just us with our manmade fire and slaterock firewall and the dirt to sleep on.

My mom's idea about camping is the Converted Van an RV Park. That version sucks.

I personally hate the noise and pollution caused by 4x4s and ATVs. They often ruin other peoples camping trips. I am an avid canoer (although portaging is not really my favorite thing, but a necessary evil) and prefer the quiet of the canoe to get you to your remote campsite. Yeah, motorboats are annoying too, esp when it's not a great weather day and they set up a lot of wakes.

that is the camping i do. tents and no electricity.

I may be going camping later this month to a music festival. Dunno if I want to go or not.

camping is sleeping on the ground, on top of the snow, no sleeping bag, tent, clothes. eating tubers dug up out of the ground and wild mushroooms. walking till your bare feet bleed. i think i've got a picture of me naked on top of a mountain . . . no, it only shows my shoulders. i'm naked, because there was 4 feet of snow keeping all the more cowardly climbers away, i climbed the mountain clothed though. it's the first pic i've posted of myself, and it's one of the worst pics of me ever . .. http://wcvt.com/~bradjoan/me.jpg

yeah if i went camping naked one of the few illegal hunters we encountered would have probably shot us.

we went 4x4ing which was fun. if i still had insurance i woulda taken my mom's crappy xterra and given it a good run. ive done it in her old durango too very capable.

we also slept on dirt but we brought chilly which we used the can too cook and we brought beer/wine/vodka/whisky you know the camping essentials.

me too. But I have been trying to quit for a while now. My parents won't let me yet and they keep using some lie about outdoors being good for you. :D I mean come on, that ultraviolet light could kill people. :) I try and stay indoors whenever possible.

Tell your parents one of your XP genes is already mutated ^_^
