How to transfer record albums to PC
 

I have a few old record albums(they black about 12' with a small hole in center) that I would like to transfer to CD's.

I have not tried it as yet, but it seems pretty staight forward.
I have an Aureal MX 300 Sound card which I would plug the reciver into the imput configure the software, have lots o room on the hard drive and so on.

If anyone has do this any tips and such would be greatly appreciated

I assume you have a vinyl player.

All you need to do is take the output (usually the headphone output if your unit uses speaker wire to conncet the speakers), and plug it into the Line In jack on your soundcard. Record the sound as a WAV file, and then burn the WAV file to a CD, either using Nero or SoundForge.
