Equalizer settings getting reset after each new song plays
 

I installed the Winamp 3 version but I'm experiencing a problem: whenever I set my EQ settings correctly and then play a song - the equalizer settings disappear and I'm forced to reset the equalizer setting...EVERY TIME I listen to a different song. It resets itself whenever a new song is on the playlist for playing. Please help and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Anybody else having this problem? Using XP Home edition with 256 megs of ram. Thanks.

Click the AUTO button on the EQ into an OFF state.

With the AUTO button on winamp automaticaly adjusts itself to the file being played, turn it off and it uses the EQ setting you specify.
