When you key in ctrl alt delete??????????
I am sure this has been posted a million times, and I am sorry (I did a search but could not find the answer).
When you hit control alt delete it shows a list of programs currently running on your computer. How do you find out what some of these programs are? I have no clue what some of them are and dont want to shut them down unless I know what they do. Thanks for your time! ~ Missy |
You Google for it and get a million and one results. :)
Notice that those tasks reload whenever you start-up Windows. Some can be shut down for good by going to Start->Run and writing "msconfig", this will open up a window, there you go to the Startup tab and tick whatever you want to load/not load while starting up Windows. This is in Win98, I don't know if they kept msconfig in Win2K and WinXP. |
