Stupid Crossfader!
I hate the new "crossfader" function in Winamp3. I want to listen to each song all the way through and THEN go to the next song, not listen to about 5-10 seconds of garbled mixing. And I can't turn it off! I click the Crossfader button so it is toggle off, then listen to my music, and it still crossfades between tracks! How can I disable this stupid function? It also crossfades when I press Z or B to toggle between tracks. Please tell me anything you know about killing the crossfade.

Open the Prefernces window. Go into DirectSound, now untick "Enable DirectSound Outpu" And make sure your crossfade is disabled.
This should work. |
Better solution:
Go into preferences, click "Audio" then uncheck "Enabled" at the top :). Or you can disable crossfade when you click next or previous or change the crossfade time. |
Why is the second solution better than the first?

I'm pretty sure that either one should do the trick. :igor:
