Winamp & Shoutcast Forums - umbrella minds skin appeal

Hi,

I'm pretty confused about the unpublishing of the skin which I performed myself because somehow it got turned into a different file format and did not look right. It was made for the winamp 2 player and i have not yet learned how to make one for version 3, and if it was uploaded incorrectly then I take responsibility.

Well, my skin is a hand-made skin done on Paint Shop Pro 7. I'm still working on it after at least 100 hours of work. Aesthetically, I was inspired by Sumeamp, Major Tom, and a couple of other favorites. Nevertheless, I've never seen a close resemblance between my skin and any other skin out there. I have all the original files with dozens of layers meticulously labelled. I have the orginal drawing on a paper which I will be glad to scan for you. Finally, I have my client who commissioned the skin, who is most likely willing to clarify the matter. Beyond that, I look forward to hearing more about any particulars or even general appearances that show a rip took place. Thanks -dm
