Metal-magazine searching for "skinners"
 

Hi folks!

This is Alex, chief-editor of Metal-webzine "The Metal Observer" (www.metal-observer.com).
We have relaunched our site on July 21st and want to open a new category with skins, e.g. for WinAmp. Now we are searching for artists, who could support us in building a collection of Heavy Metal-related WinAmp-skins, of course with full credits of the creator!

One of the heaviest metals is gold, and I have a golden skin (see my sig). Ok, this was a shameless plug, I know, but I had to :D Seriously, I have no skin for you, but I might do one some day...

I made KoRn and Spine Shank skins, they suck badly, but you can use them, just let me know if you do and the url to where i find them

Actually, after looking at the site and reading the VERY poor review of Nightwish's cd... can I retract my skins? Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the articles when I looked at the site. The gist of it is, "Tarja is hot and I'd love to bone her, but that's the only good thing about this album."

So I'd prefer not to have my skin advertised by a bunch of male chauvinist pigs who can't find anything good about an album.


<edit>Although I should clarify... I'm talking about the one on the front page, by "Wes", not the article by "Alex" which was very well written, bringing up some major points and working through them.</edit>

I think I know exactly which skull it is you took a photo of - I have a photo of it myself, actually. The city is called Kraków - or Cracow in English - not Krakau.

We wanted to say thanks you to all, who posted their skins here for us to use them for our site. We'll mail you the link to your skin once it is up, do not fear!

If any of you (or somebody else) is interested in doing this "full time" for us, please let us know.

Oh, and concerning Wes' review, you all most know that he is absolutely OBSESSED with Tarja, so as far as Nightwish go, he is not exactly, ehm, objective... Do not judge the whole zine by his review(s). Thanks!

Sorry to repeat myself, but would you be interested in a Ministry skin? It's not 'orthodox' metal, so I don't know whether you would be. I've considered making one, although at the moment I don't think I will. But if you would like it for your zine, maybe I would...
