Win XP Play All Function

My first post on here is a complaint. Not good.

I just got Winamp3 last night and I'm using it on Windows XP Pro. With Winamp2 I was able to use the very handy 'Play All' function on the left-hand side of music folders. With Winamp3 all I get is a message from XP saying "Unable to find playable file".

I am also no longer able to select all files on a folder and press 'Play in Winamp'. All this does is skip through the songs without actually playing them.

All files are all defaulted to be associated with Winamp, so if anyone can shed any light on this problem or has any similar difficulties, it would be much appreciated. Sorry my descriptions have been so bad!

I use XP Pro too, and both problems you mentioned work fine for me.

WA3 loads whole directory into a playlist (many thousands of songs) and then starts playing them. Also highlighting and selecting "play in winamp" works fine.

Here are my suggestions.
Fully uninstall WA3, and if you want to you may wish to delete WA3 related registry enteries.

Reinstall winamp3 and try again. Failing this try putting WA2 back on and see if it works, or try letting Windows Media player default to MP3's. This lets you see if its a Winamp problem or if its XP screwing up again.
