can't load winamp3
 

Winamp3 won't load after the first use. I tried uninstalling then installing it again. I even downloaded the file again and installed it agian. Also the skins didn't even work the first time I used Winamp3.

List any error messages that occur when it fails to load.
Also try uninstalling wa3, deleting the folder (if it was left behind) and clearing the winamp3 related registry enteries.

The error message that I get is:
Expression: f->ptr <f->filesize
File: C:\projects\studio\Ns_database\Vfs.cpp
Line: 149

wow, that is one wierd error, its appears to be a "programming" error (cpp = c++ programing source file).

I can't also find the directory structure (given in the error message) on my computer.

Do you know where your WA3 installed?
When you unistalled did you check to see if all the files in the WA directory were removed?

It is installed in the c drive under Program Files
When I uninstalled it I did remove all of the other files.

Ok, un-install. Delete the folder. Delete the registry keys of wa3 in your registry. Restart your computer, now try installing it and tell me how it works.
