Playlist total time and when opening a file from windows explorer...
 

Hi everybody!

In WA2 in the playlist you can see at bottom the total duration of the playlist, while WA3 only shows you the number of items. It would be nice to have this duration again in the playlist editor :P

Also, when you open a file from windows explorer, winamp replaces the current list with the new file opened. Now that winamp can manage more than a list at the same time, it would be better if when you open a file from windows explorer, winamp creates a new list placing there the item opened.

That's all! I'm waiting for the next version! :D

I completely agree with your point on adding new files - I'd love it to make a new playlist. Love love love love. (Was searching for someone to sgugest this 'fore making a new thread). Thanks!

Yeah, I was going to post asking for both those things, glad I found this string. I completely agree, if those to things were done winamp 3 would be HUGE amounts better!

You could have written worse english but would be evenly right!!!
 

If someone within the WinAmp programmer's crew decided to implement the total time feature, she or he should not forget to put another length information in: namely that of the group of currently selected files.

Playlist Total Times and Taskbar Scrolling
 

First thing I noticed was missing playlist times (selected AND total). I use both in planning collections.

3.0 doesn't overload my (admittedly oversized) system, and it looks and sounds great, so I'll use it to play music, but I'm glad it got its own directory so I can keep using 2.x for planning. On the other hand, for someone whose system isn't as big as mine, it's just more bloat (can you spell AOL?).

Oh, yeah: I also miss the scrolling title in the taskbar.

Ah, well, someday 3.xyz will fix all the problems in the world.

I agree fully on this request. Time on whole playlist and on selection of files was the first things I noticed was missing and that is the feature I miss the most.
