Buffer & skipping problems, redux

Hi - Using 5.21, Shoutcast broadcasts intemittently skip and buffer. Per advice given elsewhere in these forums I did a clean un-install and re-install, but problems persist on an occassional basis...

You mean all those tweaks we used to do to the buffer settings are no longer needed?

I am unable to connect with Shoutcast station Radio Rivendell. I get the mpeg synching error message. I don't have this problem with any other Shoutcast stations. Any tips?
