your playlists are stored in your program...
your playlists are stored in your program files\winamp\plugins\ml\ as .m3u files. they have weird names, not the ones that you named them in the media library. but you should be able to figure...

You must use your album artist tag. It can be done "easily" with a mass tagger... there are a few, I use mp3tag... but there are many more. for the VA albums use the album title or whatever you...
