I'm getting the exact same issue, using 7-11% CPU...

I'm getting the exact same issue, using 7-11% CPU to playback MP3s and showing a noticable slowdown... Not had this since my Pentium w/ MMX days, so downgraded and all is fine again... Possible bug?
