I got AVS working on Windows 10 the other day...
I got AVS working on Windows 10 the other day (10.0.14393 Pro x64). Had to launch Winamp in "Vista" compatibility mode and with admin rights. It worked though!
Winamp version is v5.666 Build 3516...
