That's not what we're saying at all. There is a lot freedom and room for UI innovation within the native OS look and feel. Look at Eclipse, Windows Live Messenger (the new one built on WPF), etc...

Why though? Sure you get fewer CSS bugs with firefox, but that's a non-issue for any competant web developer... Winamp uses its own browser controls, so that's not any reason to use firefox... Sure...
