Unfortunately that means that each file needs to be in a separate folder if it belongs to a different album.

I can't think of a reason why one would not insert the artwork in the file itself.

Album washer does not add artwork to each MP3 file

Hi, I thought Album Washer would add artwork to each file. Instead it seems to add a .<album name>.jpg file to the folder containing the MP3 file. This happens even if I choose to update one MP3 file...

This seems to happen (to me) slightly at random. Most of the time is seems to happen when I ask AW to find tags/art for an entire album. It then creates a .<album_name>.jpg file instead of actually...

brief error dialog box upon logout

If I don't close WinAmp prior to logging off in WinXP Pro I get an error dialog box briefly before the logout is complete and I'm returned to the Welcome screen.

Actually, try this MP3 file whose tag was written by WMP. In my 2.79 the last letter is removed from title, artist and album :weird:

Any word on this? I just used the XP Media Player to setup tags (since it kinda has a nice way of doing it) but now the tags are truncated in WinAmp.

It doesn't sound like adding Unicode support...
