I noticed the same thing a while ago and stopped using sqr for that reason. I loved the features, but the quality hit is very noticeable. I just wish there was some way to have crossfade capability...

I suspect this is another bug introduced in pmp_usb in the the 5.58 build, but I thought I'd see if anyone else was having this issue before I opened a bug report.

I've used pmp_usb for many years...

I'm sure multi-threading encoding of a single file would be quite difficult, but being able to encode/transcode more than one file at time shouldn't be to hard and would be a huge improvement.
