This is the proof that the issue is on the Winamp side. No fix needs to be done on the GT side, just the Winamp side. It's called compatibility. You do not expect GT to install a file in the Winamp...

Same Problem

I use DFX and Resumer V1.2 as my only plug-in. Winamp will not close and remains in the system tray. I must enter task manager to close it and it has sequestered ~40 - 50MB.

This version is terrible. I can't connect to the online radio anymore and it hangs when I try.

Now I have to search around for the older version. It was and is a big mistake to release software...
