I am only playing the music for streaming to shoutcast server, so I don't need to hear it from a local device.

Winamp stops playing music when user disconnects

I run Winamp from a virtual console and play music (to stream through Shoutcast)
Then I disconnect my session (remote desktop session)
Winamp process stays active but playing music stops.
