I have a friend who is a Linux user. He can't play ogg files in Linux with the XMMS player if those files were encoded in Windows with either PP's output plug-in or the encoder built into Sound Forge...

Annie - Yours is an old post but I don't see any responses. There is a plug-in for Winamp on the Plug-ins page that will allow Winamp to play vqf files. Download and install it per instructions.
