Icons
could the icons be changed in winamp (native like previos versions) and could new icons be added.
could custom icons be added to skins, so when a skin is loaded the icon changes for that skin

how about a simple update agent which connects to winamp and sees if there is a new version of winamp.
this could also check if the skins/scripts/components are also up to date.

i was going to do a simular skin for another...
