yeah, i'm not ready to migrate to 5.x yet. heh, i'm relaying 4 servers on freebsd-4.10-stable, found out about the exploit, only to find 1.9.5 to work on FreeBSD 5.x.

so it should kick-off users after 1 hour, right?

since there is no way to monitor automatic/manual stream ripping, i want to impose a 60-minute listening restriction to my listeners.

its disturbing how many multiple attempts, bogus user_agent's and stream rippers i find everyday.

so i wonder if someone station has 375 users...

i dont want to them to reach my shoutcast station so i just firewall them with FreeBSD's ipfw -
/sbin/ipfw -q add rule# deny ip from X.X.X.X to any
and thats the end of it. :)

yet, another intro/back file problem

hi folks,

first time here. alright, i managed to install both the FreeBSD4 server & transcoder just fine. works great! quite stable.

i followed the instructions to enable the "introfile"...
