Take the bitrate / 8 to get the amount of KBYTES per listener on your stream.

Just wondering, do you have anything set in the ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags on those mp3s? If not, try adding something. I've never seen this problem before, then again I have those tags filled out.

It can play wav but you need a special codec. Mp3 is so much more nicer then the rest though, even if you can play wav, I'd stick with mp3.

Lock the bitrate?

Is there a way, program or just something to hex that would lock the bitrate at a certain rate that connect be changed by the remote DNAS itself?
