I want to be able to provide a link stating "listen" on the website It seems like why should I go through shoutcast. listeners would have to go to shoutcast to connect???

I would like to broadcast streaming audio directly from my website. I don't want to go through www.shoutcast.com Is there any Winamp software to do this or do I have to use Windows media player or...
