This is clearly the work of ml_ipod and winamp 5.2 put together. You should try downgrading to winamp 5.1. http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=winamp
Try installing that instead with ml_ipod...

I had that problem when I downloaded the mad...
I had that problem when I downloaded the mad plug-in decoder. It didn't support id3v2 tags and i'm guessing ml_ipod uses it. I switched back and uninstalled the plug-in and went back to normal.

MAD plug-in screws up mp3s in ipod
I enjoy the decoding of mad plug-in, but something about it screws up the mp3s in my ipod when using ml_ipod. The mad plug-in decoder doesn't detect my id3 tags and my file names aren't recognized...
