Uncheck all the codec support boxes and ffdshow is basically passing all codec calls to whatever else you have installed for decoding DivX.

Are the same codecs also clicked for input...
Are the same codecs also clicked for input support? I just checked and it fixes (I unchecked the box and re-checked it to make sure) the problem on ASF's. I'm now looking for WMV's to check.

In addition, this "fix" also seems to work for some "ghosting" (something like the green channel ghosts 100 pixels to the right) issues in videos.

Okay, here's the thing.
I understand that they're having trouble duplicating the problem on their side. On the other hand, I offer a fix, and I'm sure various people can comply that it works if added as a checkbox....
