Desperate times call for desperate mesures!!!
Before going to a concert tonight (leaving soon!) we just HAD to listen to some music. I installed winamp 2.79 on top of 5.24. And it seems to work....

I'm not sure what version I had been using...
I'm not sure what version I had been using before, but it had not been bugging me to update so I'd assume it was the most recent. It was the lite version. And yes, I did a clean install.

Shouldn't have updated?
Just today I updated winamp to 5.24 and it now crashes randomly while playing. Unistalled and reinstalled quite a few times, even tried and older version but that did not work anymore either.

Same problem.
I have just updated winamp and now it keeps crashing after one or two, sometimes three if I am lucky!, songs.
And now even installing an older version doesn't work either.
