turning off "send anonymous usage statistics" had...

turning off "send anonymous usage statistics" had no effect. it still crashes while the VPN is engaged and does not crash when the VPN is unloaded.

sure enough, it doesn't crash when i turn my vpn off. does it phone home during playback/ripping? i have the "send usage statistics" turned on.
