18GB is correct. It's the way the hard drive manufacturers calcuate space. 20GB is considered 20,000,000,000 bytes (which gives you 18GB) even though 20GB is techincally 21,474,836,480 bytes.

That happened to me too. When you first uploaded/sync'd your ipod, did it timeout multiple times? I think that's how you get missing mp3s. I was able to fix this by restoring (formating) your ipod...

I know this has been discussed already but since Apple is now discontinuing b/w ipods, and more users will start to have color ipods, I was wondering if you can seriously start thinking about adding...
