midi 2 wave 2 mp3?Diskwriter doesn't work

i can go from mp3 to wave but I can't go from midi to wav. Can anyone help me please. I have downloaded diskwriter but it doesn't work.

once you have loaded file onto winamp,...

once you have loaded file onto winamp, right-click on it and click on "convert".
