i fixed it when i got home from school today.

all you have to do is uninstall winamp, then delete all the files from the program files folder. then reinstall it. thats it!

i have this problem as well.

also had the AVG trojan problem, but worked around that. winamp still crashes when i run it, and i cant figure out why or a solution. help us!

yes it was a third party plug in that was not in the winamp folder, but its .dll file was. i deleted its .dll file and the problem persisted. so i deleted everything and reinstalled it.
